Storyline
WELCOME (Noun) – a kindly greeting or reception, as to one whose arrival gives pleasure
After eight years of living in North Serbia, David (18) and his mother moves back to Hungary to David’s father. A psychological battle begins between a man, who wants to be a father and a son, who refuses his authority. In the meantime, we witness Dávid as he is secretly smuggling refugees through the border. However, it cannot stay a secret for too long…
The film tells a story of an eighteen years old indifferent teenager, David. After eight years of living in North Serbia David and his mother moves back to Hungary, to David’s father. Between a man, who wants to be a father and a son who refuses his authority a psychological battle begin. As the story goes forward David’s secret, that he smuggles refugees throught the border, gradually reveals. First his mother gets to know about it, but she is unable to stop his son. After a dangerous action, where the indifferent David rescues a refuge girl, his father also has to face his son’s secret. Finally David and the girl end up at the same place.
