As a newly diagnosed diabetic, Luca spends her first days in the hospital when she unexpectedly receives a new roommate, Noémi, who opens her eyes on the possibilities of her individual freedom. Luca is still not familiar with the conditions of the illness, so she curiously watches her roommate, who is not obstructing her behavior at all. Noemi draws the girl's attention to the eternity of the disease, from which Luca begins to understand the fundamental principles of her rebellious behavior and is interested in the world created by Noemi within the hospital's system of rules. The hospital's workers end their common journey, but Luca takes the memories with her.
