Singer/Songwriters from all over the world are drawn to Nashville, TN, for the opportunity to 'make it' in Music City, USA. As of this date, there are over 55,000 songwriters living in Nashville. On my very first two-month pilgrimage in 2009, I played my original music at open mic and writer's nights all over town, and met some incredible musicians, and more importantly, they were all amazing people. A couple years later, I decided to return to Nashville to make a film documenting their journeys. I have since made four trips back to shoot and edit, and the project is still coming together. This film showcases 11 songwriters, and spotlights a few more. Hey, I didn't have time to interview all 55,000.
