Jorge Monforte is a Brazilian businessman, owner of the Ouro Verde empire, one of the world leaders in the agricultural market. He recently acquired an important stake in Banco Brandão Ferreira da Fonseca (BBFF), a family business led by the powerful Portuguese banker Miguel Ferreira da Fonseca, winning a seat on the institution's strict board of directors.
