Chris and Ashley have been together for two years. Ashley has dealt with depression almost all her life but hides it because of the stigma surrounding it. When asking Chris if he is cheating, an argument breaks out between them which leads to Chris breaking up with Ashley. Ashley tries calling her friend Michelle but when she asks Michelle to come over it is revealed that Michelle is with Chris. Michelle and Chris though have a falling out and break up. Michelle walks in on Ashley just in time to stop her from committing suicide however the conversation does not end well and Ashley tells Michelle to leave. As Michelle is walking down the street she gets texts that Ashley and Chris have committed suicide, she is heart broken and doesn't know what to. She thinks about it and decides to call the hot-line number.
