Europe, 1940. An idealistic Jewish secretary is brought in for questioning about the Resistance-bombing of a crematorium. During the course of the cross-examination, the attractive Jewish woman forces her Nazi interrogator to reconsider the real value of a life. Will he ultimately think that her life is worth saving, or will he decide that she is not even a real person?
