Aaron and Lacey are married but have a few things to work out. One day after a marital skirmish Lacey escapes to the beach for a yoga session to help her relax. Her dog, Luna, is with her and she begins digging in the sand. Together they find a wedding band bearing the inscription Miss Bonita Springs 1967 on the outside. On the inside is the inscription, Fish With Me Forever. Her curiosity piqued by the romantic mystery, Lacy tracks down BeBe Nowitzki, the Miss Bonita Springs in question and invites her to meet on the beach. Coincidentally, Aaron while visiting a local bar, becomes friends with a guy named Cal who has had romantic troubles of his own. Aaron takes Cal to meet his wife on the beach. The surprise rapprochement is complete with an impromptu wedding ceremony on Bonita Beach where the older couple met 50 years earlier.
