Belle, a country girl by origin, leaves her home to try her luck in the big city. Unfortunately for her things don't go according to plan and when a work colleague uses his power over her sexually, she is forced to retreat back to the country. It is there she is reunited with her childhood sweetheart, Jack, who tries to help her come to grips with the haunting reality of what's happened to her.
