Youth film festival (MLADINSKI FILMSKI FESTIVAL) for short films by authors up to the age of 24, located at the heart of the Balkans in Skopje, Macedonia.
Youth Film Festival in the past 2 years was part of the biggest high-school art festival in Macedonia "Three days of culture", created by the same organizers. This year we are establishing an independent film festival whose goal is to bring together the short films of young authors, where filmmakers from across the globe will be able to see their creations and compare their work with their peers.
The festival has 3 programs:
- Home program (only for authors from Macedonia).
- Documentary shorts – for short documentary films.
- Short fiction – for short fiction films.
The festival will be held in the beautiful yard of the Cinematheque of North Macedonia, in the “A Quite Summer” cinema. The programs will be alternately distributed in the 2 day period, 10 films per day, 20 films altogether. The festival nights will be finished off with 2 local musical acts.
The festival will give out a reward for the best film of the line-up.
