General Rules:
Submission Deadlines:
Early Bird Submission: by November 15th, 2019
Regular Submission: November 16th- January 1st, 2020
Late Submission: January 2nd, 2020- February 22nd, 2020
West Sound Film Festival competition categories are open to the United States and International entries.
If the film’s primary language is not English, it must have English Subtitles.
Entries must include contact information, with both an email address and phone number.
Submission Format:
Films must be submitted via FilmFreeway online screeners only.
Festival Promotion:
Should your film be chosen, portions of your submitted material may be copied and utilized for the purpose of promoting your film and the festival. Upon submission, filmmakers grant the West Sound Film Festival the right to use excerpts, highlights and/or trailers from the film for promotional purposes/ marketing. West Sound Film Festival has the right to screen any film or projects submitted to the Film Festival.
Additional Submission Rules:
Please make a note in your submission if you are local to the Washington State area in the place of a cover letter.
Please make a note in your submission if you are a High School student in the place of a cover letter.
You may submit as many entries as you like however, each submission requires its own entry fee and form.
Works in progress will automatically be disqualified
Industrials or promotional videos are not appropriate for submission
Entry fees will not be refunded
Only submit work which the filmmaker has all the rights.
All decisions made by the West Sound Film Festival are final and at their discretion.
