1. Content must have been directed by and or written by and or star persons of color (Asian, Black, Latino, Women, Others)
2. Filmmaker/Content Creator must be 18 years of age or older.
3. Content must meet the specific contest requirements for the category or contest that it is submitted to.
4. All content submissions must be Full HD 1920 x 1080 or Higher
5. Content must be in English or have English Subtitles.
6. The Urban Action Showcase Competitions are open internationally worldwide!
7. The film must have been completed no earlier than January 2015.
8. There are No premier restrictions for the 2020 Competitions accept for the WarnerMedia Action Short Film Competition.
9. The Blood Sweat n Bones Feature Film Contest budget must be under $5000.00
10. The Blood Sweat n Bones Short Film Contest budget must be under $2000.00
11. All Late Submissions must be received by August 15 2020
Theatrical Official Selections
Note: The UASIAFF will be screening DCP for all (Theatrical) Official Selections. Instructions on file delivery will be given upon Official Selection status notifications.
1. Theatrical Official Selections must submit a 30 sec Trailer and 10 sec Action Clip immediately upon notification.
2. Theatrical Official Selection Screening Deliverables are due September 1st 2020. (*You will be in danger of losing your screening spot if they are not received)
3. Eligible original Winning Content and select Official Selections (Finalist and Semi Finalist in both Theatrical and Online Contests) are eligible for Distribution on Amazon and other platforms.
4. Closed Caption Files are mandatory for distribution platforms.
5. WarnerMedia Action Short Film Competition Contest Winners: International Submissions must be able to accept an U.S Corporate Check or Wiring fees will be deducted from the winning amount. All WarnerMedia Official Selections will screen Theatrically if access is Available to Movie Theaters.
6. All Theatrical Official Selections will screen online for 7 days starting November 8th - November 14th.
7. All Official Selections are eligible for Awards. Note: If there is No Live Awards ceremony, all Winners will have to pay shipping and handling for the mailing of their trophy. There will be a broadcast announcement of the winners available on November 6th via the Live Awards (subject to access to the theater) or by social media platforms and our website under the UASIAFF tab.
8. All Winners will have to pay shipping and handling for the mailing of their trophy if absent or if there is No Theatrical Awards Ceremony.

Online Festival Official Selection Screenings
1. Online Official Selections will be available on our site in the Urban Action Showcase Cinema Section on our website.
2. Online Official Selections Screenings will be available on Smart TV's, Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV Devices
3. Online Official Selections Screenings will be accessible beginning November 7th for Eight Days until November 14th if there is No Access to the Movie Theater!
4. If Access to the Movie Theater has been restored then the *Online Official Selections Screenings will begin November 8th for Seven Days until November 14th.
5. Online Official Selections are specific to the Online Festival Screenings. Your film must qualify for the (Theatrical Official Selection) in order to be screened at the Movie Theater. Acceptance as an Online Official Selection does not necessarily qualify your content to be screened Theatrically.
6. You will be notified of your content's Official Selection status weather it be Online Only or both Theatrically and Online.
7. All Official Selections are eligible for Awards. Note: If there is No Theatrical Live Awards ceremony, there will be a broadcast announcement of the winners available on November 6th via social media platforms and our website under the UASIAFF tab.
8. All UASIAFF Winners will have to pay shipping and handling for the mailing of their trophy if absent or if there is No Theatrical Awards Ceremony.

Feature Film: Includes Feature Narrative & Blood Sweat n Bones No Budget Contests.
Features must be a minimum of 60 minutes and a maximum of 120 minutes.
Short Film: Includes Short Film Showdown & Blood Sweat n Bones No Budget Contests. Short's must be a minimum of 4 minutes and a maximum of 30 minutes.
TV Pilot: Television Pilot Awards
TV Pilots must be a minimum of 30 minutes and a maximum 45 minutes.
New Media: New Media content must be 30 to 60 min long.
Webisode/Web Series: Web Series Awards
Webisodes must be a minimum of 3 minutes and a maximum of 30 minutes.
Fan Films: Fan Films must be under 60 minutes.
Fight & Action Scenes: 2 Minute Warning Contest
Action Scenes, Trailers, and Reels have a 3-minute maximum time limit but no minimum.
Note Submission Fees Cover both Online and Theatrical juries.
