Trans Stellar is for LGBT+ and queer filmmakers to submit any film of any genre/style. Films do not have to have "queer content" to be considered. Due to accessibility concerns, we are currently unable to screen pornography.
Submitted films:
—MUST be made by an LGBT+ and/or queer person*
—MUST be in English, or have English subtitles
—NOT disparage or police any minorities or identities
—NOT have any fees associated with the rights to show
*LGBT+ includes lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, nonbinary, pansexual, asexual, genderfluid, and other identities. Queer encompasses all of these identities, as well as any identities that fall “between” or “outside” these labels. Queer is the preferred term for TSFF, however if you submit and do not wish to be labeled under the queer umbrella, please let us know.
*The filmmaker is someone who maintains significant creative control over the content of the image and the story. This position is usually director. If you hold a different position, but feel you meet these qualifications, feel free to submit and your case will be considered.
By submitting your film, the Filmmaker agrees to the Terms & Conditions available at www.transstellarfilmfestival.com/terms
