Films must be between 1 and 5 minutes in length, including credits. Films can be produced in the 2019 and 2020 school years.
Films can be Public Service Announcements, Documentaries, Music Videos, Newscasts, Experimental, Short Narrative films or Animations.
Only films from Arizona High School Students are eligible for the scholarship prizes.
No copyrighted music is allowed.
One director must be credited for each high school film. The director named in the credits and entry form will be the one to receive the scholarships.
By entering this contest: I hereby state that I am authorized to enter this media material in the Prescott Film Festival (hereafter called PFF). I hereby indemnify, release, and hold harmless PFF, its managers, employees, interns, sponsors, individuals and institutional supporters from any liability related to the use of my entry including any or all damages or losses that may occur to my entry. I give my express permission to PFF to exhibit my entry at events which include but are not limited to judgings, previews, exhibitions and festival screenings. I understand that copies of my materials will be made to accommodate festival operations and Film & Media Arts promotions. I grant the right and permission to use any part of my entry media and materials to promote current and subsequent PFF events. I further state that all rights and permissions for any materials contained within this entry, including all music rights, have been granted to the entrant and the entrant holds harmless PFF and Yavapai College from any or all disputes or claims that may arise from the granting of these rights and permissions.
