About the festival

We are excited to announce our inaugural Film Festival in the Heart of Suffolk, covering all genres for both shorts and features, made since January 2015.
You don't have to live in Suffolk to enter your film into competition but it would be great if you could get here for the two days of festivities, Q&As and see your film up on the big screen if it gets through to the competition!
There will be breaks for meet & greets in the bar and the auditorium throughout. A great chance for networking and making those connections that can make all the difference in this industry.
It's a small venue - historic and intimate, nestled on the river Stour, complete with a bar, that will be open throughout the 24th & 25th June.
We are a three-minute walk from the centre of town, full of cafes and restaurants but food will be available at the venue.
We have a thriving film community in the local area and links with press, radio and TV in East Anglia.

The Awards ceremony will be on Sunday 25th June in the evening with a specially commissioned trophy for the winners and certificates for the top entries.
As the only film festival in the Suffolk district, and with the films judged by people from the film industry, it's all about getting your work known and shown!
