About the festival

The International Film Awards (The IFAs) is now part of The Binge Festival. We're a festival to celebrate most diverse and creative talent without language or cultural barriers. We want to discover, promote and nurture the art of independent cinema, music, performer, theatre and exceptional talent from around the world, and give artists with a unique perspective a platform to take steps forward. Hosted in the beautiful cities of Newcastle and Gateshead. Working in partnership with other International Film Festivals in sister-cities, our aim is to promote the work of independent filmmakers internationally.

Filmmakers and creatives will not only get exposure to industry professionals but The IFAs would further support collaboration, distribution guidance and co-production opportunities for our Film makers.

NOTE: We're now also open for musicians, bands and other performers.

Awards and certificates will be announced soon for our 2nd year.
Our winners will also be promoted at International Festival Partners.
