About the festival

As much a labor of love as a mission, The Donald M. Ephraim Palm Beach Jewish Film Festival strives to bring the finest examples of cinema from around the world to South Florida. The chosen films are as diverse as our community. Some focus on Jewish issues, others spotlight Jewish achievement and valor; still others simply document Jewish culture, arts, and history. All of our films celebrate the Jewish experience. Founded in 1990 the festival continues to grow and evolve as we continue to expand our selection of narrative features, short films and documentaries to reflect the tastes and needs of our audience. In addition, now as a year round film department we continue the process of engaging, entertaining and educating through film all year.

Serving over 16,000 film-goers year round, the Donald M. Ephraim Palm Beach Jewish Film Festival gets bigger and better every year!

Prizes are not monetary. Audience Awards are given for Best Narrative Feature, Best Documentary Feature and Best Short. Films are selected by the audience. Winners are notified. Names of winners are also posted on the film festival website: www.pbjff.org
Winning films may be asked back to be featured in encore series.
