About the festival

Students are invited to participate in The Annual Baruch College 48-Hour Film Challenge. All are welcome to enter. No previous filmmaking experience necessary; you can make a movie on your phone!

As a part of Baruch College Art-a-thon on Thursday, April 12th, The Baruch College 48-Hour Film Challenge offers students the opportunity to collaborate and tell unique stories that showcase how the arts are a part of our everyday lives and vital to our communities.

On Monday, April 9th at 12:00 PM, three days before Art-a-thon, the film challenge will be posted online explaining what themes, props, or locations must be included in the 3-minute film. Students will then have 48 hours to shoot, edit, and submit their film via the FilmFreeway platform. Submissions will be due by Wednesday, April 11th at 12:00 PM.
