Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, Tangier international Film Festival has firmly established itself on the regional film fest circuit as one of the most reputable african film festivals.

Offering an impressive selection of competitive Features, Fiction shorts, Animation Shorts and Documentary shorts with the presence of very important distributors and festival agents from around the world.

This year, Tangier film festival is inviting filmmakers from around the world to submit their films to get a highlighted news feature by participating for free (if you are selected) at the Tangier Film Market network and have the opportunity to meet many importants producers, buyers and distributors and get your film featured on the Market platform website and promoted to all our members worldwide.

Terms and rules

Tangier Film Festival RULES
Article 1:
Tangier international film festival (TIFF) is an annual manifestation whose main objective is to promote the Moroccan cinematographic culture and multidimensional exchanges as well as supporting innovative expressions.
Article 2:
The (TIFF) is organized every year by CINEMANA Foundation in collaboration with national and international partners; the festival is also accompanied by local and regional authorities.
Article 3:
TIFF PROGRAM:
• International competition of fiction, animation and documentary short films.
• international competition of Feature Film.
• Honoring to local, national and international movie stars
• Master-classes
• International Seminars
• Round tables
• Tangier Film Market
September 26 to October 1st 2017
Article 4:
The films selected in the competition will be screened on DCP.
Article 5:
The films submitted in the competition must be:
• Produced after the 1st of January 2016.
• In the documentary, animation or fiction category.
• up to 30 minutes.
Article 6:
The films must be presented in an original version with English subtitles.
Article 7:
The candidate must send the completed registration form, Vimeo Link with the access code, the film Director’s photo and the data sheet of the film before May 30, 2017.
Article 8:
Each jury consists with five distinctive personalities in the field of Art and cinema. No one can take part in this jury if he/she has any relationship with any participating film in the competition.

Article 10:
The organization committee reserves the right to:
• Decide on the registration of participants in the different activities and cinematographic encounters of TIFF.
• Schedule any activity or work of cultural interest for this manifestation.
Article 11:
The request to participate in any activity of TIFF implies unconditional acceptance of these General Regulations.
Article 12:
Every film selected in this competition cannot be withdrawn during the event.
Article 13:
The Executive Committee of Cinemana Foundation has the right to take any decision regarding points not covered by this General Regulations and / or their interpretation.
