The 9th annual Surfalorus Film Festival takes place September 17-19, 2020 on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. This three-day celebration showcases the year's best surf films, supporting the work of award winning veterans to first-time filmmakers. Surfalorus is presented by Come Hear NC and is a partnership between Cucalorus and the Dare County Arts Council. Festival venues include Jennette' Pier, Jack Brown's, Roanoke Island Festival Park, and the NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island.
Surfalorus brings surfers and filmmakers together for three days of sharing and celebrating. Watch some of the year's coolest surf films each night and surf the best waves on the East Coast during the day. Visiting filmmakers get free housing and a chance to take a Hang-gliding lesson at Jockey's Ridge State Park.
