About the festival

‘Strapless Film Festival’ is an annual international student festival, showcasing student and professional films from around the world. The festival will be showing a large variety of short movies submitted by students and selected by our committee.

As our main feature film, we will also be screening the film ‘Portuguese from Soho’ directed by Ana Ventura Miranda and will be hosting a Q&A and masterclasses with the creators of the Portuguese ‘BEAST' Film Festival.

We believe strongly that all student filmmakers from around the world, both experienced or kickstarting, have the right to have their artistic efforts applauded! SUBMIT!
