ENTRY GUIDELINES
Strange Beauty will be held in October 2015 in Durham, North Carolina. Entries must be received by July 15, 2015.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUBMIT
You may submit via FilmFreeway or mail us a clearly labeled NTSC Region 1 or Region 0 DVD of the work.
If your film is selected for the festival we will contact you about images and press kits.

NOTIFICATION
We will notify all filmmakers by e-mail. If accepted, the exhibition copy of your work will need to be in our hands by October 1, 2015.
PUBLICITY
We would like the ability to use a short clip from accepted filmmakers’ work in a web promo for the festival. If you do not wish to grant that use, just let us know.
AWARDS
Strange Beauty is a non-competitive festival, so there are no official awards, though we'll have baubles of some kind for all filmmakers who come to the fest.
EXHIBITION
Strange Beauty can show electronic files and 16mm prints.
SHIPPING
Cost of shipping exhibition prints to the festival is the responsibility of the entrant. Exhibition copies must be sent to the festival prepaid. All film reels, cans, and cases must be labeled with the title of the entry. The festival will cover return shipping via FedEx or US Mail. The entrant or the recipient must pay additional charges for express shipping or transshipments to foreign film festivals. The festival cannot accept responsibility for damage or loss of materials while in transit. Please use only plastic or bubble pack envelopes when shipping entries.
