Awards and Prizes can change at any time at the discretion of SnailCove Film Festival.
Each winner receives an opportunity to stream their content on our site.
*The recipients of Best Series, Best Series Director, Best Short Film, Best Short Film Director, Best Feature Film, and Best Feature Film Director are NOT eligible to win Best Picture and Best Director. For example, if Series A, Short A, and Feature A are all set to win Best Director in their appropriate categories but the director of Series A is chosen for Best Director, then Series B would win Best Series Director.
^All content (whether classified directly as a Drama or Comedy or not) are eligible for our acting awards. Even if you submit your series as SciFi (for example), your actors will still be eligible for these awards. Does your series lean towards comedy? Your actors will fall under the Comedy acting awards. Is your series much more dramatic than funny? Your actors will fall under the Drama acting awards.
+ To be eligible for Best New Series, your series must be premiering at SnailCove or another festival instead of released to the general public.
~ The "Specialty" category includes genres that aren't as broad a comedy and drama. They include but aren't limited to Action, Adventure, Mystery, Thriller, Horror, Science Fiction, and Fantasy. You will have the option to enter the comedy/ drama category as well as the specialty category, specifying your genre when you submit. You are NOT able to win both (for example) Best Comedy Series and Best Specialty Series .
