This festival only accepts submissions from filmmakers with learning disability.
Work submitted to the Sit Down Shutup & Watch Film & New Media Festival must have an artist with a learning disability at the centre of the creative process, it is not a festival about people with a learning disability, it is a festival led by people with a learning disability. People with a learning disability can be script writers, actors, camera people, sound people, directors or producers. The important thing is that you are a major contributor in making the film. Non -disabled people and organisations can give support and advice.
Films must be 10 mins or under not including Credits.
Films must have English subtitles, for accessibility.
Films must be G Rated, We will not accept any films that are offensive, obscene or contrary to law
You must have permission in writing to use all the music, sound and images of people in your film.
