The third edition of Shorties will be happening across Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam and Australia and we will ONLY be taking submissions shot in these countries.
If you’re a budding filmmaker, we’re looking for YOU! From now till the 15th of March, the Hive is launching an Open Call across the Asia Pacific Region for our international film festival.
Across 5 days we will be supporting local talents, ending the week in a night of awards, followed by a celebrating closing party!🏆All screenings will be shown in the Hive Lavender [Singapore], the Hive Jinnan [Japan], the Hive Taipei [Taiwan], the Hive Thonglor [Bangkok], the Hive Thao Dien [Viet Nam], the Hive Collingwood [Australia], and the Hive Sheung Wan [Hong Kong].
Best Documentary Film: 500USD prize, 6 months Hive membership

Best Film Subcategory [IG Micro Short Film]: 150 USD & 6 months Hive membership
Best Film Directing: 250 USD & 6 months Hive membership
