Fabulous February Fringe Festival - Accepting Short Film Submissions!
Friday, February 9, 2018 and Saturday, February 10 at 7pm.
West County Arts and Culture invites female filmmakers to submit works which run 20 minutes or less to their “Fabulous February Fringe” event to be held in Ashfield and Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts, February 3 and 9 - 10, 2018.
Film submissions will be accepted until December 8, 2017. Films will be selected by the Greater Shelburne Falls Area Business Association/West County Arts and Culture Committee. Filmmakers will be notified of their acceptance in early January 2018.
We started this festival last year as a way to promote women artists. Our Festival includes film screenings and live performance plus a workshop!
This mini-film festival seeks to promote about two hours of short films WRITTEN and/or DIRECTED BY WOMEN. The theme of the fringe is LOVE and/or HOPE; films that explore the theme are encouraged to apply. A question and answer segment after the screenings available for all filmmakers who can attend the event.

No awards, no prizes. But screening of your film to a super-excited, informed, and well-heeled crowd!
