1. 영화제 취지 Objectives
2015년부터 시작된 서울국제음식영화제는 음식과 영화를 매개로 세계 곳곳의 다양한 삶의 모습과 문화를 이해하고 서로 소통하고자 하는 축제다. 인생의 맛과 여유를 환기하는 영화들을 통해 현대인의 바쁜 일상에서 잊힌 삶의 미각을 되찾는 맛있는 힐링을 지향하며, 건강한 먹을거리와 지속가능한 식생활에 대한 활발한 논의의 장을 마련하는 역할을 수행한다. 또한 각양각색의 음식과 다양한 문화권의 삶을 담은 영화를 통해 먹는다는 것과 우리 삶의 관계를 돌아보고 함께 나눠 먹는 즐거움을 생각하는 맛있는 영화제를 관객과 함께 만들어 가고자 한다.
Seoul International Food Film Festival (SIFFF) is an event to present outstanding and thought-provoking films about food and related issues every year. While celebrating diversity of food and lifestyle from different cultures, SIFFF also aims to provide time for relaxing and healing to rediscover the taste of life, not to mention, to raise public awareness on healthy eating and sustainable food system.
2. 개최 일자 Period
서울국제음식영화제는 2020년 9월 9일부터 9월 16일까지 제6회 영화제를 개최한다.
Seoul International Food Film Festival will hold its sixth edition from September 9th to September 16th, 2020.
3. 영화제 프로그램 Programs
제6회 서울국제음식영화제에 출품된 작품들은 경쟁 부문 및 다양한 비경쟁 부문에서 상영될 수 있다.
Submitted films will be considered for both the competitive and non-competitive sections.
3-1. 오감만족 국제단편경선 Tasty Short Film Competition
- 2018년 1월 1일 이후 제작 완료된 작품으로 이전 서울국제음식영화제에 출품된 바 없는 작품
- 장르에 상관없이 음식 또는 관련 소재를 다루거나 넓은 의미에서 식문화와 관련된 작품
- 위 조건을 충족하는 상영시간 40분 미만의 단편영화
- 상영시간 40분 이상의 영화는 심사를 거친 뒤 비경쟁 부문을 통해 상영될 수 있음.
- Films completed after January 1st, 2018, not submitted to SIFFF previously
- Films about food and related issues regardless of genre
- Films shorter than 40 minutes only
- Films longer than 40 minutes will be considered for non-competitive sections screening.
3-2. 시상내역 Awards
- 대상 3,000,000원
- 심사위원특별상 2,000,000원
- 한국단편경선상 2,000,000원
- Best Short Film 3,000,000 KRW
- Jury Award 2,000,000 KRW
- Best Korean Short Film 2,000,000 KRW
4. 출품 안내 Entry
모든 출품은 온라인으로만 가능하다. 아래 두 가지 중 하나의 방법으로 2020년 6월 26일까지 출품해야 한다.
All entries must be submitted online. Please follow one of two ways below. The submission deadline is June 26, 2020.
1) 필름프리웨이 홈페이지에서 온라인 출품 등록 및 프리뷰 파일 또는 링크 업로드
Submit your film online via FilmFreeway with a full-length preview link or file
2) 출품 신청서와 상영본과 동일한 버전의 프리뷰 영상(파일 또는 링크)을 sifffcompetition@gmail.com으로 제출
Download the entry form from SIFFF website to complete and email with a full-length preview identical to the screening copy(link or file) to sifffcompetition@gmail.com
5. 작품 선정 Selection Process
출품된 작품들은 서울국제음식영화제 사무국이 구성한 예선심사위원들의 심사를 거치며, 각 작품의 선정 여부는 2020년 7월 31일까지 출품인에게 개별 통보된다. 영화제 상영이 결정된 이후에는 어떠한 이유로도 작품 상영을 취소할 수 없다.
All submitted films will be viewed by a preliminary selection committee established by SIFFF. Selection results will be announced to each entrant individually by July 31st, 2020. Once confirmed for screening at the film festival, entries must not be withdrawn for any reason.
6. 출품 운송 Materials
출품된 모든 자료는 반환되지 않으며 출품 운송에 관련된 비용 및 책임은 출품인에게 있다. 국외에서 운송 시 USD 10 이하로 가격을 명시할 것을 권한다.
Any materials submitted for selection will not be returned. All the costs of transportation and insurance must be fully paid by the entrant. Please note that for materials shipped from overseas, the declared value should be equivalent to the materials only (less than USD 10).
7. 상영본 제출 및 반환 Shipping
상영이 확정된 작품은 홍보를 위해 영화제 사무국이 요청하는 추가 자료와 고화질의 디지털 상영본을 사무국에서 요청하는 기한 내에 제공해야 한다.
If confirmed for screening, additional materials and/or a high definition digital screening copy may be requested by SIFFF, and these materials are to be submitted to SIFFF by the stated deadline in the request.
7-1. 경쟁 부문에 상영이 확정된 작품의 운송 비용은 출품인이 부담한다. 영화제는 작품의 반환 비용을 책임지며, 타 영화제로 운송되는 경우는 영화제간의 일반적인 규정에 따른다.
Once a film is selected for the competition, detailed shipping instructions will be sent to the print suppliers specified in the entry form. The one-way trip transport and insurance costs for the film must be prepaid by its sender. SIFFF will pay for the return cost only. Shipments to other festivals are the exception, in which case the standard practice of cost sharing will be applied.
7-2. 비경쟁 초청 부문에 상영이 확정된 작품은 출품인이 영화제 공식 운송 업체를 이용하는 경우 발생하는 왕복 운송 비용을 영화제가 부담한다. 타 영화제에서/로 운송되는 경우는 영화제간의 일반적인 규정에 따른다.
For films selected for the non-competitive sections at SIFFF, detailed shipping instructions will be sent to the print suppliers. The round trip transport costs will be remunerated by SIFFF only when the shipment has been made through the official courier service designated by the festival and the return is to the origin of the print. Shipments to and/or from other festivals are the exception, in which case the standard practice of cost sharing will be applied.
8. 상영 언어 Language
선정된 작품은 원어로 상영되며, 비영어권 작품일 경우 영문 자막본 상영을 원칙으로 한다.
Selected films will be screened in their original version. English subtitles are required for non-English and non-Korean language films.
9. 상영본 관리 Screening Copy
최종 상영본은 한국어 자막 작업 또는 원활한 상영을 위해 상영 포맷이 변경될 수 있다.
In order to facilitate the addition of Korean subtitles and to ensure a smooth screening, the format of the final screening copy may be changed.
10. 홍보물 제작 관련 자료 사용 Publicity
영화제는 홍보를 위해 출품인이 제공한 홍보용 영상(트레일러)을 그대로 이용할 수 있으며, 상영작 전체의 10%, 최대 3분 이내 분량을 임의로 제작하여 사용할 수 있다.
After official selection of a film, SIFFF is qualified to use the promotional materials submitted by the entrants and SIFFF reserves the right to use excerpts from the film, with a maximum of 3 minutes (or up to 10% of the film running time), for promotional purposes.
11. 아카이브를 위한 자료 관리 Festival Archive
11-1. 서울국제음식영화제는 상영작 자료 및 상영본을 아카이브에 보관하며 이를 상업적 목적을 제외한 홍보 및 연구, 교육적 목적을 위해 활용할 수 있다.
The materials of all selected films including the provided previews and screening copies will be kept in SIFFF archive only for non-profit, educational and research purposes after the festival.
11-2. 영화제 측의 부주의한 관리로 인해 자료 유출 피해가 발생할 경우, 영화제가 이에 대한 책임을 진다.
SIFFF will be responsible for the damages caused by its carelessness in supervising the materials.
12. 영화제 이후 상영 Additional Screenings
수상작을 포함한 모든 본선 진출작은 저작권자와의 협의를 거쳐 서울국제음식영화제가 주최 또는 후원하는 상영회에서 재상영할 수 있다.
All award winners of the competition can be included in the Best of SIFFF tour screenings for one year after the festival without further notice or agreement of copyright holders.
13. 저작권 Copyright
출품작에 사용된 음악이나 영상 등의 저작권은 출품자가 직접 해결해야 한다. 영화제는 출품작에 사용된 음악 및 영상 등의 저작권을 별도로 확인하지 않으며, 저작권과 관련하여 문제 발생 시 출품자가 전적으로 책임을 진다.
Entrants are responsible for all copyright clearances for the materials included within the submitted film. SIFFF will not be held responsible for any disputes or damages related to the copyright infringement of the submitted film.
14. 효력 Agreement
위의 규정은 출품과 동시에 동의한 것으로 간주하며 효력을 갖는다. 서울국제음식영화제는 위의 규정에 없는 사안에 대하여 결정할 권리를 갖는다.
These regulations are considered valid upon submission of the film to SIFFF. SIFFF reserves the right to make an independent decision on any matter not enumerated in the above regulations.
