About the festival

A festival to help promote the educational aspects of Western Washington University's SEA Discovery Center. At the SEA Discovery Center, our mission is to share the joy of discovery to cultivate stewards of the marine environment. Help inspire our community to discover marine life and ecosystems. Create and submit a short film (under 20 min) on the theme of 'Sea Discovery.' We leave it up to the film maker to interpret that theme with their film.

Mission

Film submissions will undergo an initial screening, and finalists will be selected by an internal committee.
Films selected as finalists will be shown for audience voting during the July 3 film festival event.
Laurels will be awarded based on audience voting.

Submitters retain all creative rights to their work.

Submitters agree to allow use of their film by the SEA Discovery Center in their auditorium, online, and in promotional materials.

Please attach student ID if submitting as a student.
