JURASSIC WORLD’S COLIN TREVORROW SPONSORS SCOUT FILM FESTIVAL EMERGING FILMMAKER GRANTS
Scout is thrilled to offer the Grant for Emerging Filmmakers. For the second year, this grant is sponsored by American director and screenwriter, Colin Trevorrow, known for the indie film Safety Not Guaranteed (2012), and the blockbuster hit Jurassic World.
As part of Scout's Career Development Program, in partnership with Visura.co, this open call is an opportunity for two emerging filmmakers to receive $5,000.00 in cash for the completion of a new short film or work in progress in one of two separate age categories; 18 and Under or 19 to 24. The winners will be announced and prize distributed during the 2020 Scout Film Festival April 16-18 in Boston, MA.
The mission of the grant is to 1) recognize filmmakers aged 24 and under; 2) support a new film or work in progress; 3) bring the work of filmmakers to key industry leaders worldwide; and 4) support the next generation of film leaders.

Scout Film Festival, in partnership with Visura.co is proud to continue our Career Development Program in support of filmmakers aged 24 and under . This Program works to offer grants, scholarships, mentorships, internships and other career opportunities to emerging filmmakers worldwide.
In addition to our annual 3-day film festival, we are excited to launch the second annual open call for submissions to the Scout Film Festival Emerging FIlmmakers Grant. This is an opportunity for emerging filmmakers worldwide aged 24 and under to receive $5,000 and in-kind support for the completion of a new short narrative or documentary project or work in progress. The winner will be announced and distributed at Scout Film Festival Awards Ceremony April 16-18, 2020 in Boston, MA.
Note, we are simultaneously holding identical open calls for filmmakers aged 18 and under as well as 19 to 24 - PLEASE be sure to submit in the proper age category or you may be disqualified.
