Selected as one of "20 film festivals worth the entry fee" by MovieMaker Magazine, the Rome International Film Festival (RIFF) is the premier film event in Northwest Georgia.

RIFF welcomes films and filmmakers from around the globe to share the art of independent film with regional audiences, to entertain and enlighten festival attendees, to provide filmmakers the opportunity for professional networking and development, and to encourage cultural tourism and film industry development in Rome, Georgia and the surrounding area.

The Rome International Film Festival is a filmmaker-friendly festival that focuses on the quality programming of all genres. We want to give a heightened sense of the experience to all who participate and attend. RIFF goes above and beyond to make all of our visiting filmmakers have a great experience.

RIFF rewards numerous juried and audience choice categories with our prized Sylvia Award—our very own hand-sculpted bronze trophy crafted by a local artist.

Please follow these guidelines when mailing your entry:

Note: We prefer a high resolution digital copy of the film. (H.264 or .mov) Only send media copy if digital format is not an option.

A copy of your Blu Ray or DVD, in NTSC. (If needed)

A reproducible photo or electronic image suitable for use in the program.

A synopsis or description alone on one page, (one paragraph, appropriate for quick reading)

Be certain to include your name and return address clearly on the package and include the category on the label as well.

Please include your FilmFreeway tracking number on all physical materials.
