About the festival

We're back! RGU Film Society is running its international short film festival for the third year in a row.

Filmmakers from around the world are invited to send in their short films for them to be screened at Belmont Filmhouse.

RGU Film Festival shall have 3 competitions:

Best Non-Student Film
Best Student Film
Best Film

Terms and rules

1) Films have no minimum length, but must be under 15 minutes.
2) All films with dialogue, including those with English dialogue, must have English subtitles.
3) Films must have been made within the past 18 months
4) All content within the submitted films must be either the work of the creators or licensed for them to use it. All content shall remain the property of the creator.
5) There is no limit to the number of films that a filmmaker or producer may register.
6) No Music Videos, Advertisements or Propaganda films will be accepted
