<<UPDATE>>
As part of our contingency plans in response to the Covid-19 pandemic we can now confirm we will be hosting the film screenings for Rapport Festival from Friday 18th - Sunday 20th September 2020.
Our event dateline has been changed to reflect this and all of our entry deadlines have now extended accordingly. Given the current situation, we feel postponing the screenings is an excellent solution, keeps our event running, and gives filmmakers something to focus on through these exceptionally difficult times.

Rapport Festival is an International African Diaspora (BLACK) arts festival that is here to redefine the artistic and cultural landscape of the UK.
By placing the spotlight on work created by African Diaspora practitioners and artists from multiple genres and art disciplines, the festival offers a unique platform that celebrates and elevates African Diaspora artistic expression from across the international diaspora.
The Rapport Festival is multidisciplinary. We embrace African Diaspora visual artists, musicians, dancers, DJs, spoken word & live performance artists, filmmakers, theatre makers, innovative creatives, agitators and all round movers & shakers.
We’re looking for films that touch upon the hybrid nature of the black African Diaspora experience throughout the world. We're particularly interested in submissions from African Diaspora filmmakers from: UK, Europe, South America, Caribbean, Canada, Asia and the Middle East.
All selected films win Rapport Festival Official Selection laurels.
