Press Film Festival is a fete of feature stories and photo-essays dedicated to Gordan Lederer and two Russian journalists (Genadij Kurinoj and Viktor Nogin) killed in Hrvatska Kostajnica while doing their job. Each year Festival covers different topic: 5th edition is entitled „Fake News – False News“. This 2020.year topic is "MEDIA IN WORLD CRISES -COVID-19". We are collecting all documentary, animation, shorts, feauturing films and reportage with this topic.
Press Film Festival is supported by the Croatian Journalists' Association and the official program will be followed by public discussions, lectures, photo-exhibitions and book promotions. We hope it will reach our goal to extend interest to new audience and young students of journalism will be invited. It also means decentralization of cultural events and gives the Pounje region a new start in the process of social revitalization.
The best films will got plaquete of festival. Anouncing of winners will be in Croatian Journalists' Association in Zagreb.
