About the festival

Pink Lobster has established itself as New Brunswick's first and premier LGBTQ+ film festival, devoted to celebrating and bringing the stories of LGBTQ+ communities in not only Canada, but around the world, to audiences in New Brunswick. Frictive Pictures looks forward to marking the Pink Lobster Film Festival as an annual tradition in the capital region of New Brunswick.

The festival features films focusing on LGBTQIA+ themes from all around the world including India, Hong Kong, the UK, Sweden, and several other countries. The festival also features short films by a variety of local filmmakers.

Submissions open exclusively to Atlantic Canadian filmmakers. Please contact us for a waiver code.
