Hola, somos el Panama Horror Film Festival, un festival de cine donde todo tipo de cine de horror es bienvenido, incluso el cine de fantasía siempre y cuando sea oscuro.
Nuestro festival se celebra en el centro de América, en la ciudad de Panamá, justo en la zona de Ancón, en el Teatro Guild.
Panama Horror Film Festival es el único festival de cine de terror de Panamá y de Centro América y vamos ya a celebrar nuestra quinta edición.
Las películas que proyectamos suelen ser independientes, básicamente de latinoamerica, pero también hemos proyectado películas de Asia, Europa, Oceanía y Norte America. Todas las películas de horror son bienvenidas mientras no se hayan estrenado en salas comerciales en Panamá, estén en Netflix o cualquier plataforma online.
Buscamos películas recientes (3 años desde el estreno) aunque siempre hay espacio para proyectar un buen clásico de horror o una película de culto.
Nuestra audiencia está sedienta de historias diferentes a lo común, busca propuestas arriesgadas, busca pasar miedo pero no le hace asco a reírse con escenas sangrientas o desafortunadamente cómicas.
Nosotros los organizadores somos amantes del género de terror, consumimos libros, arte, música, teatro y sobre todo cine de miedo. Llevamos años realizando cortometrajes y largometrajes y colaborado con varios festivales y distribuidoras de cine. Nuestro equipo se entrega totalmente al festival creando una experiencia diferente para nuestra audiencia durante los 7 días del festival que incluye exposiciones, conciertos, mercados, paradas con comida, cervezas artesanales, obras de teatro, concursos express de cortometrajes, stand up comedy, entre otros.

Hello, we are the Panama Horror Film Festival, a film festival where all kinds of horror films are welcome, even dark fantasy films are included.
Our festival is held in Central America, in Panama City, right in the Ancón area, at the Guild Theatre of Ancon.
Panama Horror Film Festival is the only horror film festival in Panama and Central America and this year we are celebrating our fifth edition.
Our screenings are usually independent films, basically from Latin America but we have also shown films from Asia, Europe, Oceania, and North America. All horror films are welcome as long as they have not been released in commercial theaters in Panama, whether they are on Netflix or any other streaming platform. We are looking for recent films (3 years since their premiere) although there is always room for a good horror classic or a cult film.
Our audience is thirsty for stories different from the ordinary, looking for daring proposals, wanting to be scared and does not get grossed out with bloody or unfortunately comic scenes.
We organizers, are fans of horror genre. We love art, books, music, theater, and especially horror films. We have been making short films and feature films for years and collaborating with several film festivals and film distributors.
Our team is totally dedicated to the festival creating a different experience for our audience during the seven days of the festival and that includes exhibitions, live concerts, markets, food stalls, craft beers, plays, short film express contests, stand up comedy, and more.
