Pan African Youths Film & Arts Festival is a live screening of short films and display of Art in Lagos, Nigeria. This event is an amazing opportunity to promote African filmmakers, directors, writers, producers, actors, and African centered storylines to the world. There will be a live screening with a Q & A session for all participants.

Submissions will be judged by Award winning Filmmakers and professionals. All submissions will be analyzed following a judging criteria and all participants will receive a copy of their result.

Rules & Terms
You DO NOT have to be an African to submit to the festival, however, all films entered must feature an African in at least one of the following roles:
Director, Writer, Lead Actor, Producer African focussed storyline

All Non-English works should be subtitled in English

If you are not of African Descent please contact us via email/cover letter and let us know who is of African descent in your team to be considered for the festival.

Pan African Youths Film And Arts Festival is hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes. The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations. The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless Pan African Youths Film and Arts Festival from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.

This category is reserved for creative and scary Horror Films that have adrenaline pumping moments. Do you have a film that was intentionally created to scare people? Does your film depict any horrifying action sequences, blood, gore, monsters, psychotic people, slashing, stalking, zombies, vampires, disease outbreaks, demonic possession, haunted buildings, or any other elements that would classify your film as a true horror film? Great sound design, musical score, cinematography, visual effects or special effects are appreciated by the judges. The maximum length for all horror short film submissions is between six minutes and thirty minutes in length including all credits.
