About the festival

Nostalgia Film Festival (NFF), the first independent Iranian film festival in the north of Italy, with no affiliation to any political or religious organizations, launched in 2019 with the aim of displaying attractive and broad audience Iranian cinematic productions in the European zone. Selection of films will be solely based on the taste and desire of the audience in each period regardless of pursuing a cultural, Political or any other approach. NFF, even if for a short period of time is trying to be able to create sweet and nostalgic memories of the Iranian gathering in Iran for our Iranian audiences and presenting a part of Iranian culture and cinema for the non-Iranian audiences of the festival. We believe that the major audience artworks at any given time reflect the cultural, social, economic, and political concerns as a part of a society that has been properly expressed and appreciated by its audience.

-Board of juries in Nostalgia Film Festival will choose the best feature film and short film which will be awarded the Nostalgia Golden Kite.

-Certificates of recognition will also be issued to the best film overall submitted to the festival.

-The Special Children Peace Prize will be awarded by the Institute of Peace Ambassadors to the selected film.
