Starting in 2007 Observatorio Sur undertook the “Mirrors and Mirages” film series on and from the African continent. In each edition we have selected films based on different subjects to show and debate on history and actuality in the African world. During these continuing 12 years we have scheduled films of African directors together with films from other countries which portray a particular view on African realities.
In this 13st edition we call on independent film directors and video artists (long, medium and short films) to send material that would contribute to show new depictions on Africa. The received material will be included in our Film Archive and apply for the selection for the 13st Edition of “Mirrors and Mirages” Film Series that will take place on XXX
