About the festival

The 12th annual Midwest Regional Alternative Dance Festival (RAD Fest), March 5-7, 2021, is an adjudicated dance festival, which showcases the best in live contemporary dance and screendance from around the country and around the world. RAD Fest boasts five different live performances, two screendance series, eight master classes, discussion panels, and surrounding networking events, and this year RAD Fest has gone digital! All dance for the camera films will be screened in an online format.

Terms and rules

All screendance submissions must be 12 minutes or less. All submissions are subject to curation/adjudication. The work submitted must be the work which is presented at the festival with no substitutions.

Description

Screendance: All screendances must be works made specifically for the medium of film/video. Videos of live dance performances will not be accepted. All screendances must be 12 minutes or less and are subject to curation.
