Please note: All Short Films 10 mins and under made after 2015 qualify, provided it is an International Premiere/Australian Premiere.

Please aim for clever, witty, satirical, zany, sophisticated comedy content. Whilst the judges will not act as censors but if you film contains content that may offend, it may result in disqualification for an award.

BUT! If your short film has been broadcast on TV/ Online or in competition at Festivals in Screen Australia's selection it is not an International or Australian Premiere. www.screenaustralia.gov.au/festivals-and-markets/festival-profiles

Tropfest and Over the Fence film festival screenings count as Australian Premieres.
