The Feminist Festival is co-hosted by the Loyola New Orleans Women's Resource Center, Tulane University, and the New Orleans Film Society in honor of Women's History Month and International Women's Day.
We're celebrating our fourth year by holding a short film competition to showcase and celebrate women in cinema. Our jury (students, faculty and industry professionals) will also award prizes to the best Student Film, and the top Jury Prize. We will announce the date of the 2021 Festival as soon as it is finalized by the University.

It calls on feminists from all demographics and backgrounds to gather for a common cause, to engage in dialogue, to develop new understandings, and to galvanize each other and our communities to transform our society by practicing intersectional feminism.
Proceeds from the festival will be going to both the Loyola Feminist Festival hosted annually by the Women's Resource Center.
