About the festival

Los Angeles Dance Shorts Film Festival is an annual festival featuring dance films that are under ten minutes.

Our fourth annual Film Festival will take place in Los Angeles, California in the Fall of 2020 (Date TBD).

Mission: Gathering creators and lovers of screendance in one place to celebrate dance film and inspire each other.

Featuring: Networking, Screening and Filmmakers Q&A.

All selected films will receive an official laurel. Attending Filmmakers will receive two complimentary festival tickets and a swag bag.

• Films must be under ten minutes including credits.
• Films must have been created in the last three years.
• Filmmakers must own the copyrights or have permission/clearance to all content including the music used in the film.
• If film is selected, Los Angeles Dance Shorts Film Festival AKA LA Dance Shorts Film Festival has permission to use all images and film content for promoting the festival.
