LadyBugFestivalShortFilmMarathon and the seminar "A Better Tomorrow" focus this year on Environmental Issues. The shorts can be in any genre, any culture and from the whole world.

LadyBug Festival is an inspiring non profit festival with focus worldwide & cross culture, music, arts, books, stand up comedy and all genres of short films.
Our perspective is environmental issues, equality and human rights.
LadyBug Festival loves to work for diversity and has been a meeting point for a wide audience and filmmakers since 2009 and we welcome both professionals and non established filmmakers to participate.

Last years LadyBug Award was given to the short drama "The Way Home" made by Begonia Randhav. A film about Human Rights. The prize sum is €500.

Terms and rules

All films submitted must be in an mp4 container with -at least- 10mbps h264 encoding.
English subtitles is also a condition of entry.

LadyBug Festival has three categories of short film screenings, all centered around our core topics: Human rights, equality and environmental issues.

1. LadyBugShortFilmMarathon
Films under 10 minutes on our core topics.

2. A Better Tomorrow - The Environment (up to 10 minutes)
Shown in conjunction with seminars or panel discussions on a related topic, if possible including a Q&A with director or producer. This year's topic is the environment.

3. One Minute Films
Short film session with films that are exactly one minute (+/- 1 second).
