FILMS MUST HAVE A FASHION: THEME, ELEMENTS, OR SPONSORSHIP
The deadline for submissions is May 29, 2021
Please keep the following in mind for your film(s):
Film(s) must have a fashion: theme, major element(s), or sponsorship.
Films between 1 and 15 minutes are eligible for IFFA Awards.
Films 20 minutes to feature length are eligible for special screenings and individual awards.
Can be available in either standard or high definition formats.
Must own or have rights to the copyright of material submitted.
Have access to releases for the talent and music used.
Provide a short bio of the person submitting.
Briefly explain the film’s backstory: why, when, how, who, where.
Because the all LJFFF Official Selection films are automatically considered for the International Fashion Film Awards we need a complete listing of the names of the creative people who worked on the film.
If accepted, submission imagery, including film and clips, you agree will be available for use in the Festival’s promotional activities.
Films are screened as a “one-off” in La Jolla. If your film is determined to be eligible for distribution, you will be notified and have the option of signing a separate distribution agreement at that time.
La Jolla Open Submission Eligibility Guidelines:
Films must have been produced in the 18 months previous to La Jolla Festival.
Films that have appeared in film festivals outside their country of origin, before appearing in La Jolla, are not eligible for nomination.
Films produced in the United States must be a film festival premiere for La Jolla.
World premiere films are given priority in La Jolla’s program scheduling.
Films that have received awards at other film festivals are not eligible for nomination at La Jolla.
