By submitting a film to the IUP Film Festival, the person submitting is agreeing that they have read and consented to the rules for submission below and that the IUP Film Festival has the right to reject any film(s) that does not comply with our rules of submission:
I. The IUP Film Festival is open only to entries from the United States.
II. The IUP Film Festival will accept films that fall under one of the following categories only:
a. High School Films
b. Short Films
III. All films submitted that are not in the English language must include subtitles in English.
IV. All entries must not exceed the length of 22 minutes.
V. All entries must be submitted for pre-screening on Vimeo or YouTube link, 1080p minimum. If you use a secured link, you are REQUIRED to keep us updated with passwords.
VI. All entries submitted must not have premiered to the public before January 1, 2018.
VII. The IUP Film Festival reserves to right to refuse films that contain content we deem to be inappropriate for PG-13 audiences.
VIII. The IUP Film Festival the sole and exclusive right to determine a previously release or broadcast project’s eligibility, without refund of any or all submission fees previously collected from the applicant, based on the content of the submitted piece.
IX. By submitting a film to the IUP Film Festival, the person submitting the film consents to allow for the use of film in future advertisements for the IUP Film Festivals and other IUP related events/projects.
