About the festival

The 5th year running for film festival hosted by The Studio.

Previously titled Ithaca Student Film Festival, we are a student-only film festival hosted by The Studio in the Roy H. Park School of Communication at Ithaca College in Ithaca NY.

This film festival is for young filmmakers both in the United States and Internationally. We provide an opportunity for collegiate filmmakers to showcase their work to a public audience and our panel of judges.

Our panel will be awarding films in a variety of different categories. The panel is made up of professional filmmakers who are alumni of the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College. We can't wait to see your work!

Terms and rules

Terms:

- You can submit to multiple categories. Submitting to multiple categories will allow you to be considered for multiple awards and increase your chance of being selected.
- You can be selected in multiple categories.
- For Ithaca College Students, the first entry is free. Additional categories will cost the corresponding fee (Earlybird - $10, Regular $15)
- For all other students each submission is $10 before December 1st, 2020, and $15 starting December 2nd, 2020

Rules:

- You must be a student.
- Films must be under 30 minutes in length.
- Films should be in English or English subtitled
- Films can be any genre: Fiction, Animation, Documentary, Music Video, Experimental.
- Films must have been completed anytime after January 1, 2020.

By submitting to this festival, you agree to the following:

-If accepted, your film will be screened on February 22nd in a program determined by the Festival Committee.
-The ISFF and The Studio may use excerpts from your film for promotional purposes.
-The ISFF and The Studio has permission to show your film at college events and for recruitment.
