About the festival

A highly recommended short festival in The Netherlands. Held in a beautiful old Dutch building (1607).

A worldwide quality short film contest, from starter to expert, all films will be reviewed. A professional jury makes the final decisions. Next to the professional jury there are public and press awards.

Besides the worldwide/international contest there is a national (Dutch) and provincial (Zeeland) contest, with separate awards.

Terms and rules

1. Movies need to be in 1280x720 or 1920x1080, in a H264 format (.mp4/.mov).
2. The total allowed length of the short movie is up to 50 minutes.
3. Subtitles: unless spoken in Dutch or English language, all movies need to have English subtitles, baked in!
4. Publication: we never publish a film online, we can use a small fragment for a festival trailer or a still for artwork.
5. The jury's decision is final.

If there is any doubt if your film is acceptable for the provincial selection please contact us.
