Films of young authors most appropriately show current changes in society. Hence it is very important to supporting young authors is a very important issue.
On of the ways of supperting young authors is a festival movement.

10 films of the winners will be shown at the cinemas throughout Russia and Europe.
The best scripts will get a grant for a screen version.

* A festival is an alternative to a set film if it promotes the works it shows.
* A festival can serve as a certain educational centre arranging master classes and round-table discussions.
* Online demonstration of competion programmes of the festivals will undoubtedly increase the audience.
The main objective of the festival "Beinten" is to help new authors start up successfully in the professional career.

The International Short Film Festival " Beinten" appraises:
10 best films, five of them assessed by the professional juri, four of them assessed by the spectators during competitive shows, one - assessed by the spectators during online shows.
The best acting.
The best camerawork.
The best soundtrack.
Three script prize winners and seven script winners in the script competition.

Within the framework of the Festival also awarded:
- a special of jury prize of the festival,
- a prize of the Association Films Critics "Elephant".

10 films of the winners will be shown at the cinemas throughout Russia and Europe.
The best scripts will get a grant for a screen version.

Chairman of the festival jury is people's artist of Russia Alexander Mikhaylov.
Members of the jury are: produser Konstantin Naumochkin, films critic Viktor Matizen, director Vladimir Zaikin, artist Nikolay Averushkin, associate professor of screenplay writing by VGIK Maria Vodenko, director of photography Gennady Belyaev.

Terms and rules

Short films of young authors of all genres and forms 18 minutes long and 9 sheet playscreens to short films are welcomed in the competition programme.

If your film or script is not in Russian the Organizing Committee can help with the translation or making a copy with subtitles in Russian. We can also help in transmitting the film to the necessary format - Apple ProRes 422 HQ Qucktime.
