About the festival

The KINOLUB Film Festival is about bringing what is best in cinema to the young audiences (4 - 18 years of age).

The screenings of selected (short and full-length) films are held in arthouse cinemas and cultural institutions in many cities in Southern Poland (Krakow, Kielce, Rzeszow, Rybnik, Busko and others) - with attendance of over 10 000 viewers.

The program is built on the conviction that film is an excellent tool that conveys both emotions and knowledge - about unexpected situations, relationships and the world. Recognizing that due to the current cinema and tv programming, children have limited access to diverse, beautiful and challenging motion pictures - the festival Competition has an important international focus.

Apart from film screenings, the audiences have a chance to participate in festival workshops, Q&As and special events.
The professional part of the event includes industry meetings and events organized with the help of Krakow Film Commission - for all guests (Polish and foreign) to meet and discuss most important issues in children’s cinema today.
