ICSFF is Cyprus based international short film festival that focuses on narrative film. The festival aims to bring together and inspire short filmmakers from all around the world, as well as support original cinematographic approach and talented fimmakers.
Global technological changes have greatly and inevitably reshaped the face of cinema. The digital era has not only simplified the complicated technical process, but it also made it much cheaper and so, more available in terms of its production.
Although cinema is not that much developed as an industry in Cyprus yet, the number of especially young people who get involved in independent film productions increases day by day. One of the targets of this festival is to create debates and to give a chance to short filmmakers to share their experiences as well as to explore new possibilities of filmmaking through the workshops and seminars which will take place during the festival.
ICSFF has received many great films from all around the world for its first edition in 2018 and aims to continue with the same independent spirit in 2019.
