We curate films for several programs. We primarily seek films and emerging media (VR/AR) depicting the global Black experience, and cinema that addresses universal issues including the environment, health, economics, healthcare and education. Programs include:
1) ImageNation Outdoors Festival - free outdoor screenings and live music in Harlem;
2) Sōl Cinema Cafe - An Art house cinema and coffee shop in Harlem that features these works;
3) Cocktails & Cinema - Formerly held at New York City's Lincoln Center, this quarterly series features premiere screenings. Additional cities are in development.
4) Harlem International Cinema Fest! - An international competitive festival held in Harlem. This festival is in development.
Filmmakers are paid to screen their films in the first 3 opportunities names above. For item number 4, prizes, publicity/promo and distribution opportunities.
